Description

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit delivers ultimate stopping power for your vehicle, integrating advanced brake technology to combat brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance through continuous cooling. This rear brake upgrade features a red SuperComp 8 Piston caliper with a differential bore configuration, machined from aircraft-quality billet. It utilizes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for enhanced durability and rigidity. Designed for straightforward installation, this kit includes a two-piece floating disc assembly with 400mm (15.7in) slotted rotors. The floating design minimizes weight and combats thermal stress, preventing warping. The unique slot pattern on the rotor efficiently expels gas and debris while reducing braking noise, making it ideal for vehicles experiencing significant track use. The stainless steel brake lines provide superior rigidity by preventing expansion under pressure. This specific kit, part number BKBM300-862SO, is designed for the 2011-2016 MINI Cooper Countryman R60 Chassis 2WD models with the 1.6L naturally aspirated engine. Please note that the OEM handbrake will not function with this big brake kit installed.
