This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-free design. The calipers also incorporate aluminum pistons, which improve heat resistance for uncompromised operation. Supporting these are CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets, ensuring direct bolt-on installation to OEM locations. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer section of the rotor can shift slightly, improving self-centering within the caliper. This reduces brake drag and boosts overall performance through more even pad application. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures. The standard SC5 Street Pads offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust and noise compared to race pads. The standard kit includes two forged monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece slotted rotors, one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware.
