SuperComp 8-Piston 400mm Slotted Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide ultimate stopping power for your Porsche 996 C2 model (1999-2004). This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pad surfaces during braking. At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, a differential bore design that boasts larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Machined from aircraft-quality billet, each caliper weighs just over 7lbs and features integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to the OEM setup, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. The SuperComp systems also come equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors efficiently reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that will see more track use than daily driving.
