Supercomp 8-Piston 400x36mm Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your BMW E36 Z3 M. This kit integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and features larger pistons than their ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper requires four brake pads due to its large size. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, and to prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris efficiently. Cross-drilled rotors are included, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles, offering improved bite and continuous pad surface cleaning. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track performance. For more extreme track conditions, Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available as an option. These kits are made-to-order and are non-refundable.
