The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide a significant upgrade in stopping power for your Audi B9 Q5 Quattro. This front axle kit features a massive 8-piston caliper paired with 421mm x 36mm rotors, designed to dramatically improve braking performance and heat dissipation. The SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and utilizes a differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. This design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems. The caliper incorporates machined protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. Additionally, the kit includes stainless-steel brake lines that resist expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight while mitigating thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping. The rotors come with a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation, or slotted rotors, preferred for track use. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, known for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, with an option to upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads for extreme track use.
