At the core of this kit are its larger calipers and rotors, featuring an 8-piston configuration and 380mm slotted or cross-drilled rotors. The calipers are meticulously crafted from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons provide superior heat management. The kit utilizes a two-piece floating rotor design, allowing for slight shifts that improve self-centering within the caliper, reducing drag and ensuring more even pad application for optimal performance and longevity. Included are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material. These pads offer optimal braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use, with a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50% less than race pads), noise, and rotor wear. They operate effectively within a temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Complementing the system are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure, resulting in a more immediate pedal response and a firmer, more consistent pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines.
