Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece caliper design ensures lightweight construction, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons within the calipers provide superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets, allowing for direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket locations, despite the larger size of the Ksport calipers. The two-piece floating rotor design allows the outer section to shift as needed, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and boosting performance through more even application. This Supercomp kit comes standard with SC5 Street Brake Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use. These pads are designed to reduce brake dust by at least 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included. These lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling. Standard kit contents include (2) forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, (2) lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), (1) set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, (2) stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware.
