SuperComp 8-Piston Big Brake Kit

Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the 1-piece calipers are lightweight, incredibly strong, and resistant to corrosion. The opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad grip and promotes more even pad wear. Aluminum caliper pistons contribute to reduced weight and improved heat resistance. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets allow these larger-than-OEM calipers to bolt directly onto the existing mounting points. The 2-piece rotors feature a vented and drilled cast iron braking surface with an aluminum center. This design lowers rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. The 2-piece construction also minimizes the risk of rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. Heavy-duty caliper seals are utilized for sustained high-temperature racetrack use, and the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, ensuring faster pedal response. Key specifications include 8-piston calipers, 400mm (15.75") outside diameter rotors, a minimum required wheel diameter of 508mm (20"), and street-performance brake pads. The kit is compatible with the 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse. This kit includes two SuperComp Big Brake Kits. It is backed by KSport's standard manufacturer warranty.
