SuperComp 8-Piston Big Brake Kit

This kit is specifically designed as a bolt-on replacement for the 2008-2016 Mitsubishi Evolution, requiring no modifications for installation. The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional light weight, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. They feature aluminum pistons, which offer better heat resistance and smoother operation compared to other materials. The opposed-piston design significantly enhances pad grip, contributing to more even pad wear. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets are utilized to allow these larger-than-OEM calipers to bolt directly onto the vehicle's existing mounting points. This kit includes 330mm (13-inch) vented, slotted, 2-piece rotors with a cast iron braking surface and an aluminum center. This 2-piece design reduces rotational mass, quickens braking response, and shortens stopping distances. The floating rotor design also minimizes the chance of warping by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. Heavy-duty caliper seals are implemented for sustained high-temperature racetrack use, and stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under extreme conditions, resulting in faster pedal response. The minimum required wheel diameter for this kit is 432mm (17 inches).
