SuperComp 8-Piston Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit represents K-Sport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver the highest level of stopping power for your 2016-2018 Mazda Miata. This kit is specifically designed with larger-diameter disc rotors and a robust 8-piston caliper system to significantly enhance braking performance. Constructed for durability and performance, the calipers are crafted from a 1-piece solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring light weight, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. The kit utilizes aluminum caliper pistons for improved heat resistance and smoother operation, while reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets allow for direct bolt-on installation of the larger-than-OEM calipers onto existing mounting points. The rotors are a 2-piece design featuring an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This design also minimizes the risk of rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. The opposed-piston caliper design is key to improving pad grip and reducing uneven wear, while heavy-duty caliper seals are incorporated for sustained high-temperature racetrack use. Additionally, the kit includes stainless steel brake lines that prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, resulting in a faster and more responsive pedal feel. The kit requires a minimum wheel diameter of 508mm (20") and comes with street-performance brake pads.
