This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the successful Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering. The calipers themselves are forged from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, lightness, and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons are utilized for superior heat management and reliable operation. The floating two-piece rotor design allows for slight movement, improving self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag, and boosting overall performance. For daily drivers, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for better cooling. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Brake Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with significantly reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing expansion under pressure. This specific kit is designed for the Nissan Maxima J30 models from 1989 to 1994. It includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece slotted rotors, one set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware.
