The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit represents K-Sport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for the 1993-1998 Subaru Impreza STI. This kit is designed for performance and racing driving styles, featuring 8-piston calipers constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum. This 1-piece construction ensures lightweight strength, exceptional durability, and resistance to corrosion. The calipers house aluminum pistons, which offer better heat resistance and smoother operation. The braking system utilizes large-diameter, 2-piece vented rotors with a drilled design and a cast iron construction. The rotors feature a 2-piece design with an aluminum center, which reduces rotational mass, enhances braking response, and shortens stopping distances. This design also minimizes the risk of rotor warpage by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction. The calipers are equipped with heavy-duty seals for sustained high-temperature performance, and the kit includes stainless steel brake lines for improved pedal response by preventing expansion under high temperatures and pressures. The kit necessitates a minimum wheel diameter of 20 inches (508mm) and includes street-performance brake pads. The overall outside diameter of the rotor is 400mm (15.75 inches).
