Show original supplier description
The Ksport Supercomp 8-Piston Front Big Brake Kit offers an extreme upgrade in stopping performance for your vehicle. The kit includes Ksport's lightweight SuperComp caliper, crafted from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons. Standard features on the calipers include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The SuperComp systems utilize a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The rotors are cross-drilled, promoting cooler operation and are recommended for daily driven vehicles. The opposed piston caliper design enhances rigidity and pad wear. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. This specific kit, the BKTY720-951CO, is designed for the 2007-2013 Toyota Tundra. It is compatible with the following engine configurations: 4.0L V6 (2007-2013), 4.6L V8 (2010-2013), 4.7L V8 (2007-2009), and 5.7L V8 (2007-2013). The product title also specifies compatibility with 2WD Tundra models from 2007-2013.
