The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Volvo C30 (2007-2013). This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal performance even under demanding conditions. The SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, is extremely lightweight and features a differential bore with oversized pistons for superior braking force compared to the ProComp series. Key components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, ensuring durability and consistent performance. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems. The kit utilizes stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure, and the 2-piece floating disc assembly minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing rotor warping caused by thermal stress. The unique slot design on the rotors is optimized to reduce braking noise and improve the expulsion of gases and pad debris for faster cooling and consistent braking. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers slotted rotors, recommended for track use, which contribute to reduced braking noise and better debris expulsion compared to conventional designs.
