Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight and resistant to corrosion, ensuring long-lasting performance. The calipers feature aluminum pistons that enhance heat resistance, maintaining uncompromised operation even under demanding conditions. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC-machined for precision, facilitate a direct bolt-on fit to the vehicle's original caliper mounting points. This kit includes Ksport's floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer braking surface to shift slightly for better self-centering within the caliper. This results in lower brake drag and more even pad application for improved performance. The included SC5 Street pads provide optimal braking performance for daily driving and occasional track sessions, offering a significant reduction in brake dust (over 50% less than race pads) and minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F.
