SuperComp 8-Piston Forged Billet Aluminum Caliper Kit

The kit features Ksport's lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, which boast larger pistons in a differential bore configuration for increased performance. These calipers utilize aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The included 2-piece floating disc assemblies are designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, and they mitigate thermal stresses that can warp the disc. The unique slotting on the rotors helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are available in cross-drilled versions, recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation, or slotted versions, better suited for track use. Standard SC5 Street Pads are ceramic and designed for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise. Optional RC5 Race Pads are carbon metallic and designed for extreme track conditions. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on fitment to the OEM caliper locations. The brake system is compatible with BMW Z4 models from 2003-2008 (E85/E86), including the 2.5i, 3.0i, 3.0si, and M S54 3.2L variants.
