The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power and performance for your vehicle's front braking system. Engineered with an 8-piston caliper and a substantial 380mm x 32mm rotor, this kit is designed to combat brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface under demanding conditions. The caliper itself is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, making it extremely lightweight while incorporating features like differential bore configuration, larger pistons than their ProComp calipers, protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless-steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. Each caliper in this SuperComp series utilizes four brake pads due to its substantial size. The kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also helps to mitigate thermal stresses, preventing the disc from warping or cupping under extreme heat. The slotted rotor design actively reduces braking noise and more efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport recommends slotted rotors for vehicles that experience more track use. This Ksport Big Brake Kit is made to order and is non-refundable. It is specifically designed to fit the 2006-2008 Audi A4 B7 models with 2WD drivetrains. Buyers can choose between Street (SC5 ceramic) or Race (RC5 carbon metallic) pads, with the race pads not recommended for street use due to their higher optimal operating temperature.
