The Ksport Supercomp 8 Piston Big Brake Kit represents Ksport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for your Hyundai Genesis Coupe (2008-2015). This sophisticated kit is designed as a direct bolt-on, requiring no significant modifications to your vehicle. It builds upon the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for improved caliper self-centering. The calipers are precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-quality aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant component. They feature aluminum pistons that offer superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. This Supercomp kit includes lightweight, two-piece floating rotors with a unique slot design that helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. For optimal performance, slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors (also an option) are better suited for daily driving. The kit also comes standard with D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Included are Ksport's SC5 Street Brake Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. Standard kit components include two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece slotted rotors, one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware.
