Supercomp 8-Piston Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your BMW E82 1-Series. This extreme brake upgrade integrates advanced technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads. The SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7 lbs. and featuring a differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless-steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design prevents thermal stress from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. Rotors come standard with a unique slot design to reduce noise and expel gas and debris faster. Cross-drilled rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance and tend to run cooler, making them recommended for daily driven vehicles. Slotted rotors are an option for those prioritizing track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. Optional RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic compounds, are available for extreme track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F, and are not recommended for street use. All Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
