SuperComp 8-Piston Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp 8 Piston Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for the 1993-1998 Toyota Supra. This rear brake system integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads during operation. The kit features an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, with a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than ProComp calipers. It weighs just over 7lbs per caliper and includes features like aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity. The 2-piece floating disc assembly included in the SuperComp systems reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotors minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions. These pads offer fast warm-up, reduced brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), and less noise and rotor wear. For extreme track use, Ksport RC1 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available separately, offering maximum stopping power at higher operating temperatures (482°F - 1472°F). The stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent braking performance.
