Supercomp 8-Piston Rear Big Brake Kit 400mm

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade in stopping power for your Volkswagen MK7 Golf TDI. This rear brake system is engineered with massive 8-piston calipers forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, each weighing just over 7 lbs. These calipers feature differential bore configurations, larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly with a 400mm diameter and 36mm thickness. This design reduces rotating and unsprung weight while preventing warping from extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor expels gas and pad debris, and cross-drilled rotors are standard, recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation. Ksport offers two pad options: SC5 Street Pads (NAOC ceramic) for street and occasional track use with optimal temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F, and RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) for extreme track conditions with optimal temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F, not recommended for street use. D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to improve pedal feel and response. This product is made to order and is non-refundable.
