The Ksport Supercomp 8-Piston Rear Big Brake Kit represents an extreme upgrade engineered to deliver the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. This sophisticated bolt-on brake system integrates advanced technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface during operation. The kit features a robust eight-piston caliper design, paired with substantial 15.7-inch (400mm) diameter slotted, full-floating rotors. The calipers are precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. Internal components include aluminum pistons for superior heat management and high-temperature seals. For enhanced pedal feel and consistent performance, the kit incorporates D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure. This kit comes standard with SC5 ceramic street pads, optimized for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. The full-floating rotor design aids in self-centering within the caliper and helps mitigate thermal stresses that can cause warping. It is important to note that the OEM handbrake function is disabled when this kit is installed. This big brake kit is specifically designed to fit 2015-2023 Mustang EcoBoost models.
