The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is a rear brake upgrade designed for the 2012-2014 Hyundai Elantra. It features an 8-piston caliper with a 400mm slotted rotor. This kit integrates new brake technology to reduce brake fade and cool the brake pad surface.

The SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighs over 7lbs. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, and to manage thermal stresses.

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit provides enhanced stopping power for your 2012-2014 Hyundai Elantra. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Each caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on the caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates warping and cupping of the braking surface caused by extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles used more frequently on the track. Note: As indicated by MVP Motorsports, the OEM handbrake will not function with this Big Brake Kit. Please consult the product page or Ksport for any additional fitment or installation details.
