SuperComp 8 Piston Rear Big Brake System

The Ksport SuperComp 8 Piston Rear Big Brake System offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your 2008-2014 Subaru WRX. The SuperComp calipers, weighing just over 7 lbs each, are constructed from billet aircraft quality 6061-T6 aluminum and feature a differential bore design with larger pistons for enhanced performance. They also include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. This big brake kit utilizes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes weight and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc. The rotors are available in cross-drilled, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles, or slotted, ideal for track applications. Both rotor types offer increased bite and help clean the pad surface. The kit also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and quicker response, and CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. Standard equipment includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads. For dedicated track use, optional RC1 Race Pads are available, providing maximum stopping power but requiring higher operating temperatures and are not recommended for street use. This kit comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects. The SuperComp system features 400MM (15.7 inch) rotors.
