The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Cadillac CTS (2008-2013). This advanced braking system integrates new technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pads under demanding conditions. Designed for straightforward installation with minimal tools, the SuperComp caliper is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers and is machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. Construction highlights include 1-piece billet aluminum calipers with machined protection grooves, aluminum pistons for corrosion resistance and heat management, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad grip and reduces uneven wear compared to OEM systems, while reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets ensure direct bolt-on compatibility with existing mounting points. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly with an aluminum center, reducing rotational mass and improving braking response for shorter stopping distances. This design also minimizes rotor warpage by allowing unrestricted expansion and contraction. The drilled rotor style is chosen for its ability to run cooler than slotted rotors and provide increased bite, continuously cleaning and refreshing the pad surface, making it ideal for daily driven vehicles. Buyers can also select optional slotted rotors for track use or specialized SC5 Street pads (ceramic, low-dust) and RC1 Race Pads (carbon metallic). This kit comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects.
