The Ksport Supercomp Audi S2 Big Brake System represents the pinnacle of braking upgrades, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power with a direct bolt-on installation that requires no vehicle modifications. This advanced system builds upon the foundations of Ksport's Procomp kits by incorporating larger, more robust calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for optimal self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper in the Supercomp system is meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. The calipers feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation even under demanding conditions. An opposed-piston design is employed to guarantee consistent brake pad grip and even wear on both sides of the rotor. Additional enhancements include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates as standard. The two-piece rotor design is a key component for achieving lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip, suitable for both track and daily driving. The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections reduce rotational mass, contributing to quicker wheel response. The independent expansion and contraction of the outer rotor section from the center section drastically reduces the risk of warping due to heat buildup. Ksport offers rotors in both Cross Drilled and Slotted configurations; Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to their cooler running temperatures, while Slotted rotors are best suited for track-focused vehicles as they efficiently expel heat, dust, and gases. The system also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The kit comes complete with SC5 Street Brake Pads, known for their optimal street performance with reduced dust and noise, and offers an optional upgrade to RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions. The kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, all required mounting components and hardware, and an owner's manual.
