The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents Ksport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for the 1996-2000 Honda Civic. This sophisticated, bolt-on system integrates larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count, compared to the Procomp series. It also features standard full-floating rotors, which enhance self-centering capabilities within the caliper for reduced brake drag and more consistent application. Constructed for durability and performance, the calipers are forged from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons for superior heat management. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic for optimal street and occasional track use, offering a significant reduction in brake dust and noise while maintaining effectiveness within a 194°F - 1022°F operating range. Additional features include D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which resist expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles.
