SuperComp Big Brake Kit

This SuperComp model integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is the centerpiece of this kit. It is precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 7 lbs, and features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. The caliper design includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. Its opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock systems, while the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing the disc from warping or the braking surface from cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expedite the expulsion of gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The kit utilizes cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles. For vehicles seeing more track use, slotted rotors are recommended. This specific kit (BKHD100-971CO) is designed for the 2003-2007 Honda Accord.
