SuperComp Big Brake Kit

These systems are built for straightforward installation, typically requiring minimal tools. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is a highlight of this kit. Machined from aircraft-quality billet, it weighs just over 7 pounds and features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. It also includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock components, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stress from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For vehicles prioritizing track use, slotted rotors are recommended, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler.
