Supercomp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your Honda CR-V from 2007 to 2011. Each caliper in this kit is a lightweight, one-piece design, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet. It features a differential bore configuration, weighs just over 5 lbs, and includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on every caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design offers substantial improvements in pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. Furthermore, the included stainless-steel brake lines are crucial for preventing hydraulic expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent pedal feel. Ksport utilizes a two-piece disc assembly in this kit, effectively reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications, including this one, feature a floating disc option. This design mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing the disc from warping or the braking surface from cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor not only minimizes braking noise but also efficiently expels gas and pad debris, leading to more effective braking.
