Overview

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides ultimate stopping power for your vehicle. This kit integrates new brake technology to reduce brake fade and continually cool brake pads during braking. It features an extreme lightweight one-piece caliper machined from aircraft quality billet, with differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity.

Installation typically requires minimal tools. At the core of this kit is an extreme lightweight one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet. This caliper features a differential bore configuration, weighs just over 5 lbs., and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. The kit also includes stainless-steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. For applications where thermal stress is a concern, a floating disc option is available to prevent warping and cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more rapidly than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The product specifications list the rotor type as slotted, rotor size as 13 inches, caliper piston count as 8, and rotor assembly as 2-piece. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles used more for track driving than daily use, while cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles.
