The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver exceptional stopping power for your 2008-2012 Honda Accord (2.4L) without requiring vehicle modifications. This sophisticated bolt-on upgrade features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads than the Procomp series, along with standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece caliper design offers lightweight strength and superior corrosion resistance. The calipers also incorporate aluminum pistons for better heat management and reliable operation. The kit includes a two-piece floating rotor design, which allows the outer section to shift, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and boosting performance through more even pad application. Ksport offers customization options for caliper finishes, including standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes in Silver, Gold, and Titanium, with over 20,000 custom color options available. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track use, offering a 50% reduction in dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, which prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are advised for vehicles with more track usage. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, all necessary mounting components and hardware, and an owner's manual.
