The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of brake upgrades, engineered to deliver maximum stopping power for your Honda Element (2003-2011) without necessitating any modifications to your vehicle. This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the capabilities of Ksport's Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering and reduced drag. The calipers are forged from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant structure. They feature one-piece construction for uniform strength and thickness, and integrated aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance and consistent performance. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, with an outer section that allows for slight shifts, improving self-centering within the caliper for reduced drag and more even brake application. Standard SC5 Street Brake Pads are included, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. The kit also comes with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which resist expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures.
