This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering and reduced drag. Constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, the one-piece forged calipers are exceptionally lightweight yet incredibly strong, ensuring freedom from corrosion and even heat distribution. The calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which offer enhanced heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. The two-piece floating rotor design allows the outer section to adjust as needed, promoting better self-centering within the caliper, minimizing brake drag, and maximizing performance through more consistent pad application. This kit comes standard with NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which are formulated to provide optimal braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which eliminate line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customization is a key feature, with rotor options including slotted or cross-drilled designs. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that see more track time. Calipers are available in standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with options for premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color finishes for nearly limitless personalization.
