This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, brake pads, and an increased number of pistons. The calipers themselves are a highlight of this kit, featuring a lightweight forged one-piece construction from aerospace-quality aluminum. This method ensures exceptional strength, resistance to corrosion, and perfectly even thicknesses across the caliper body. Ksport also includes CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets, which are essential for mounting the larger calipers to the OEM bracket locations. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance on the street and for occasional track use, offering a 50% reduction in dust compared to race pads, along with less noise and rotor wear. Furthermore, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel over stock rubber lines. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles.
