SuperComp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle, integrating new brake technology to reduce brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft quality billet aluminum, features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers. It weighs just over 7 lbs. each and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's larger size, the ProComp series uses 4 brake pads per caliper, while the SuperComp systems utilize 2-piece floating disc assemblies. This design reduces rotating and unsprung weight and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs, reducing braking noise. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles primarily used for track driving, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler.
