Overview

The Ksport SuperComp big brake kit provides enhanced stopping power for your vehicle. It features advanced brake technology to reduce brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface. The lightweight SuperComp caliper is made from aircraft quality billet and has a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates, improving pad wear and caliper rigidity.

The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with pistons larger than Ksport's ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7 lbs each. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, which collectively improve pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper design contributes to this enhanced performance. Stainless steel brake lines are incorporated to prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems utilize a 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique rotor slot design effectively reduces braking noise and expedites the expulsion of gas and pad debris, contributing to optimal performance. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, slotted rotors, like those included in this kit, are recommended for vehicles that experience more track use than daily driving.
