The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of brake upgrades, engineered to deliver exceptional stopping power for your Mitsubishi Lancer or Mirage (1997-2001). This sophisticated, bolt-on system integrates seamlessly with your vehicle's existing caliper bracket locations thanks to custom-designed CNC-machined carbon steel brackets. The kit's calipers are forged from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet incredibly strong one-piece construction that resists corrosion. This feature minimizes brake drag and ensures more even pad application, leading to enhanced performance and a more consistent pedal feel. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, which are formulated for optimal performance in street driving and occasional track use, offering a significant reduction in brake dust and noise compared to pure race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Further enhancing the braking system are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines prevent expansion under pressure, delivering a quicker pedal response and a firmer, more confident pedal feel than stock rubber lines. Ksport offers customization options for the calipers, including standard painted colors (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) and premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium), along with numerous custom color choices. Customers can also select between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running characteristics.
