The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents an extreme upgrade engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for your Mitsubishi Galant (2004-2012). Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, the calipers are forged into a lightweight, one-piece billet design that ensures exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and even thickness throughout. This robust construction is complemented by aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance for consistent performance. The kit includes CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets, allowing for a direct bolt-up to your vehicle's OEM caliper bracket locations, despite the larger caliper size. Standard with the Supercomp kit are two-piece floating rotors, designed with an outer section that can shift slightly. This feature allows for better self-centering, which reduces brake drag and optimizes braking performance through more uniform application. The kit comes equipped with SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking in street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate line expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Ksport offers customization options for caliper colors, including standard painted finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color options. For the rotors, you can choose between Slotted or Cross Drilled designs. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to their superior cooling, while Slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles with more track time. The brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
