The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents an extreme upgrade for your Mitsubishi Galant VR4 (1988-1992), engineered to deliver superior stopping power. This sophisticated, bolt-on kit installs without requiring any vehicle modifications. It builds upon the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that provide better self-centering within the caliper. All Ksport calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more even application. This kit comes standard with NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use while significantly reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear. The operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent hose expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. You have the option to choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track time.
