SuperComp Big Brake Kit

This sophisticated bolt-on kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads. The SuperComp caliper itself is a highlight, being exceptionally lightweight and constructed from aircraft-grade billet aluminum. It features differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers, coupled with aluminum pistons and high-temperature seals. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock components, and the included stainless steel braided brake lines offer improved pedal response and feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping and cupping. Ksport offers rotors in either a unique slot design, which expels gas and debris faster and reduces noise, or a cross-drilled design recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation. Slotted rotors are advised for more frequent track use. The kit includes SC5 "NAOC Ceramic" pads, which provide optimal performance for street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. Ksport big brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. Fitment is confirmed for the Mazda 3 from 2004-2009.
