It incorporates larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads compared to Ksport's Procomp kits, along with an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering and reduced drag. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring they are both lightweight and exceptionally strong, while also being resistant to corrosion. The calipers feature aluminum pistons for improved heat resistance and reliable operation. The standard two-piece floating rotor design allows for slight adjustments, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and enhancing overall performance through more even pad application. Rotors are available in cross-drilled or slotted options; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, while slotted are better suited for track use. Included in the kit are Ksport's SC5 Street Brake Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. The kit also features DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Standard kit components include forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware and an owner's manual.
