It surpasses the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, augmented by increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper for optimal performance. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the 1-piece calipers are exceptionally lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. They feature aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance and durability. Ksport includes CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets that precisely align with your vehicle's OEM caliper mounting points, ensuring a straightforward installation. The kit utilizes a floating two-piece rotor design, which allows for slight necessary movement, reducing brake drag and improving pad application. Included are NAOC Ceramic "SC5 Street" pads, optimized for street use and occasional track days, offering a significant reduction in brake dust and noise while maintaining performance between 194°F and 1022°F. The kit also comes standard with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Further customization is available with your choice of cross-drilled or slotted rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driving due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are better suited for track-focused applications.
