The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake System is engineered as an extreme, bolt-on upgrade for the 2009-2014 Mazda 2, delivering unparalleled stopping power without requiring any modifications to your vehicle. This sophisticated kit surpasses the Procomp series with larger calipers, rotors, and pads, alongside an increased piston count and full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering capabilities within the caliper. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers offer exceptional lightness, strength, and resistance to corrosion. The opposed-piston design guarantees even brake pad wear on both sides of the rotor, complemented by high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The Cross Drilled option is recommended for daily drivers due to its cooler running temperatures, while Slotted rotors are ideal for track use, featuring grooves to dissipate heat, dust, and gases. The standard full-floating rotor design allows the outer section to shift, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and ensuring more even application. The system includes 13-inch Cross Drilled rotors and 8-pot calipers, fitting wheels 17 inches and larger. The kit comes complete with two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (Slotted or Drilled), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware, including CNC-machined carbon-steel caliper brackets designed for direct bolt-on installation.
