SuperComp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power, engineered with advanced brake technology to combat brake fade and refresh brake pad surfaces during use. The SuperComp caliper is the highlight of this extreme upgrade. Machined from aircraft quality billet, it weighs just over 7 lbs. and boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all within an opposed piston caliper design that enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM setups. The caliper also features machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Further enhancing performance, the SuperComp systems come with a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. The kit includes stainless steel brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport recommends cross-drilled rotors for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are suggested for more track-oriented use.
