Supercomp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake System is engineered as an extreme brake upgrade for the Nissan Skyline, offering unparalleled stopping power with a sophisticated bolt-on design that requires no vehicle modifications for installation. This system elevates performance beyond the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. An opposed-piston configuration guarantees even brake pad application and wear on both sides of the rotor. Each caliper is further enhanced with high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The two-piece rotor design contributes to reduced weight and enhanced fade-free performance. These rotors are approximately 50% lighter than OEM equivalents, with center sections crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum to minimize rotational mass for quicker brake response. The independent expansion and contraction of the outer rotor section from the center minimizes warping due to heat buildup. The aluminum center sections also act as heat sinks, dissipating heat effectively. For vehicles with significant track use, slotted rotors are recommended to help manage heat, dust, and gases. This system is compatible with 18-inch wheels and larger. Included in the standard kit are forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, lightweight two-piece rotors (available in slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware. The system comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects and is designed for easy installation with minimal tools.
