SuperComp Big Brake Kit

This kit incorporates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure consistent pad performance under demanding conditions. The centerpiece of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, which weighs just over 7lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers and is precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design offers improved pad wear and greater caliper rigidity over stock setups, complemented by stainless steel brake lines that resist expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly, designed to minimize both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing warping and maintaining the integrity of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that effectively reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris, outperforming conventional slot designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance. For optimal performance, slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles primarily used for track driving, while cross-drilled rotors are better suited for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler. This kit is specifically designed for the 1999-2002 Nissan Silvia S15 and fits 2WD vehicles only.
