SuperComp Big Brake Kit

These systems are built for straightforward installation, typically requiring only basic tools. At the heart of the kit are the extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, which feature a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Machined from aircraft quality billet, each caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design inherently improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems come equipped with 2-piece floating disc assemblies. This design choice reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to improved vehicle dynamics. Furthermore, the floating disc construction effectively manages thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor contributes to reduced braking noise and more efficient expulsion of gas and pad debris. All rotors undergo heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to ensure peak performance. While cross-drilled rotors are an option and tend to run cooler, recommended for daily drivers, this specific kit features slotted rotors, which are ideal for vehicles that experience more track use than daily driving.
