It builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit, featuring significantly larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count for enhanced hydraulic leverage, and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. All Ksport Supercomp calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain consistent operation under demanding conditions. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer braking surface to shift slightly, promoting better self-centering, reducing brake drag, and improving overall performance through more even pad application. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, eliminating line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This Supercomp kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, optimized for braking performance in street conditions and occasional track use.
