Overview

Integrating new brake technology, this kit reduces brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface under braking. The SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft quality billet, features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers, and weighs just over 7lbs each. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates.

The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity. Stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems feature a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces rotating and unsprung weight, while preventing thermal stress from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance.

The SuperComp caliper, a highlight of this kit, is constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and features a differential bore design with pistons larger than those found in Ksport's ProComp series. Each caliper weighs just over 7 pounds and includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on this extreme lightweight caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to enhanced durability and performance. The opposed piston caliper design offers a distinct advantage by improving pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups. Complementing the calipers are stainless steel brake lines, which eliminate hose expansion under pressure for more consistent pedal feel. The SuperComp systems are equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, significantly reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. Further enhancing performance, the unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris, outperforming conventional slot designs. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to ensure peak performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, and slotted rotors, ideal for vehicles with more track-oriented usage.
